Heading north for the weekend this afternoon. Further into the darkness but it's almost novel at the moment, the new cold and darkness in the evenings. Warm clothes - coats, gloves, scarves. My favourite seasons are spring and autumn - the transitioning times. And my favourite days the windy, but not too cold, blustery days. Plenty more of those on the way I hope. We had a great one of them last weekend, and made the cross town trek to Broadway market to do so. Didn't quite make it into the pool at London fields but some sitting in the world and people watching from a spot on the corner, then some bargain buys (2nd hand clothes) and button/ladybird book browsing was restorative. comforting. It's pretty 'cool' but has a great feel that market. Plenty of inviting doorways - coffee, red wine, beers. Places to go back to next time. 6/10 - it's Friday after all.
